FrodX Future
Shapers: The Relay
of New Faces
Tjaša Črv: Martech and Nordic Noir
Tjaša, we’ve prepared a few questions for you, but first, you have to answer one from Jure: What has been your favorite trip so far? And if money wasn’t an issue, where would you go next?
Your title says Martech Specialist. What does that actually mean?
You joined FrodX in August. What do you like most about it so far?
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
What’s your question for Peter?
Peter Pavičić: The CRM Guy Who Toured China
I’m originally a guitarist, and I’ve worked on quite a few music projects – from jazz to rock. I even had a chance to play with the SFK orchestra in Austria when Grammy-nominated Raul Midón performed there. I also toured China with an international band. If I had to pick another instrument... probably the bass.
So how did you end up in the CRM world? Because music doesn’t pay?
Well, there’s a bit of truth to that, but my main path actually came through marketing. I realized I was fascinated by data, processes, and finding solutions that improve the customer experience. Before FrodX, I worked – just like Tjaša – at Studio Moderna in technical support, and later moved into Google marketing.
How would you describe the FrodX culture?
First and foremost, it’s the people. The team spirit here is something special – everyone’s connected and genuinely nice to work with. I actually enjoy coming to the office. The second thing would be the company’s modern mindset. I like how FrodX follows trends and focuses on optimization – not only for clients but also for internal processes.
What’s something your colleagues might not know about you?
Maybe how much time I spend learning about sound design. When I’m not with my kid or doing sports, I invest a lot of time in sound engineering courses and training – purely out of personal interest.
Your question for Monika?
Where do you see yourself in five or ten years?
Monika Cerar: The CRM Girl Who Might Play Even More Instruments than Peter
Wow, ambitious question! I hope to learn as much as possible here. I don’t like standing still – I love learning new things. As long as I’m interested in my work and have opportunities to grow, I see myself staying here. What I really like about FrodX is that there are so many growth paths – not only within our team but across the company.
Before FrodX, you worked for a company selling sports products. Why the switch?
That’s true – I used to do a bit of everything there, from packaging to managing the website. But I realized what truly excites me is problem-solving and working with technology. So I decided to take a step forward and learn something new in a more specialized environment.
Do you have a hidden talent your coworkers don’t know about?
Maybe not everyone knows that I play several instruments: flute, piano, and both diatonic and piano accordion. But my favorite hobby is definitely baton twirling – I’m the leader of a local group in Kamnik and a member of the national majorette team.
And your question for Jaka?
What would your perfect day look like?

Jaka Potrpin: Martech Solution Architect and the Team’s Curious Mind
That’s a great question. Considering that I’m the father of a year-and-a-half-old daughter, Lučka, my days are quite full. A perfect day would start late. I’d make myself a coffee, pick up my phone, and read the news in peace. Then we’d go hiking as a family. The day would end with my little one changing into her pajamas by herself, falling asleep easily, and my partner and I relaxing on the couch with a good TV show.
How is your work different from that of a Martech Specialist like Tjaša?
I’m kind of a mix. Martech Specialists focus more on execution – building newsletters, creating workflows, launching campaigns, configuring automations, and making sure everything runs smoothly within the platform. I’m a bit further from the day-to-day execution, but I still need to understand it in depth to design solutions on a higher level.
Do you have a hobby or interest that helps you at work – something your coworkers might not know?
LEGO! I’m a huge fan of building things, and now that my daughter is discovering the LEGO universe too, I’m really looking forward to building together. I love that balance – you can follow the manual or go completely off-script and create something entirely your own.
If you could describe your job or personality with a character from a TV show, who would it be and why?
I’d be Sherlock Holmes. I’m driven by curiosity and the urge to explore. I love digging deep, connecting the dots, and I don’t stop until I find the right solution.
And what’s your question for Jure?
Coffee or tea – and why?
Jure Tot: Software Developer and Passionate D&D Player
I don’t drink coffee, so that one’s easy – tea.
Where were you before joining FrodX?
Before FrodX, I worked as a software developer at Agitavit for eight years – straight out of college.
What do you see as the biggest challenge in working as part of a development team?
The biggest challenge is that developers often get involved only in the later phases of a project. By then, expectations are already set, and sometimes there’s a mismatch between what was sold to the client and what’s technically possible. If developers were involved earlier, we could reduce that gap quite a bit.
How do you like to spend your weekends when you’re not coding?
It depends on the weekend. Sometimes I go hiking, sometimes my wife and I binge-watch shows on the couch. Other times, I get together with friends for game night – board games, mostly.
Do you have a geeky guilty pleasure you’d like to share?
Definitely. I’m a huge Dungeons & Dragons fan. I didn’t get to play as much this year – finding time is hard – but I kept up by watching Critical Role campaigns. It keeps me connected to the game world.
